So I recently quit my job without another one lined up. They kept dangling a promotion over my head giving the extra work but saying “we’ll do it soon.” On top of that I had to argue with them just to get a little time off to recover from Covid and they only gave me 6 days out of a 10 day quarantine. Plus I just don’t like half the customers that came in, but that was a minor thing.
Anyways, I sent the message to my boss, got my forklift certification but there aren’t a lot of places hiring for that here surprisingly. So now I’m wondering if I should get my cdl to be a truck driver. I don’t have anywhere to go anyways and I see these videos of truck drivers using their time off and money to supe up the cabin to make it like a home on the road which looks great even though I know it can be long hours too.
