“The following statement was taken here in the Columbia Missouri Police Department on Saturday 23rd of April 2022… approximately 9:03am…My name is Officer Smithton Turner and I will be taking The sworn statement of Investigation lead Bryan Johnson…..also based out of the Columbia PD.

“…….ok why don’t we just introduce yourself and begin with the evening of Friday the 22nd. Where were you and what time.” Said the officer.

Investigator Johnson coughed nervously into the direction of the digital recorder place on the metal interrogation desk before him.

“I am lead investigator Bryan Johnson and in the corporate crime division of the Columbia Missouri police department and I was in the bullpen of the investigation unit on the evening of Friday the 22nd”

Nervously, Investigator Johnson began telling his story. He was almost certain that regardless of how he spun the events of the night before,..his ass was fired…”might as well just tell the truth” he advised himself and this calmed him enough to allow him to begin.

“at around 9pm that evening the CC camera caught vow of what appears to be a 15 or 16 year old white male, juvenile…approximately 110lbs and roughly 5 foot 3 inches tall.”

“The young man is seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and eating what looks to be a Twix candy bar as the young man walks through our main public intake entrance.

“As the young man gains entrance into the public intake,we see on the CC cameras that the two intake officers and five members of the general public all seem to slump over and fall to the ground unconscious”

Investigator Johnson sighs and continues.

“The young man walks to our intake door that is double locked from the inside and requires a card key….the young man approaches the door,..the door opens and he gains access to our main offices, administrative suite and the investigation bullpen,….and that’s where I was”

“I can’t say if everyone had the same experience as I did but, I was working on a report when I can be seen, along with everyone else in the bullpen, slump and fall asleep”…..and , well, that’s what happened to me and all I can remember.

“And after you fell asleep…what what did the CC cameras show?”Officer Turner broke asked.

Reluctantly Investigator Robinson continued.

“….as the young man walks through the station,..anyone within 20 feet of the young man falls asleep. Even if the young man is walking down a hallway, the officers and staff on the other side of the hallway wall have the same experience as I and everyone else did”

“…we see on the CC footage,…the young man goes downstairs to our main lock up and he is seen walking toward inmate Javier Castillo at the end of the hallway”

Apprehensively, investigator Johnson resigns himself to what he must now describe.

“…the young man walks down the hall, and just like what happened upstairs,…the inmates, every one of them, are shown falling down and falling unconscious,….. All of the except Castillo.”

With a notable shudder in his voice,…almost a whimper….the investigator steels himself and continues.

“At Castillo’s cell,…the young man stops. Pulls down his hooded sweatshirt…and just stares at Castillo,….we can see Castillo become tense and then loose. Almost like he accepts something,…his head drops and Castillo begins to cry,…then he walks over to his cell wall,…and,….he begins bashing his own head into the cell wall. He keeps that up until he falls to the floor”

“What happens with this teenage boy after Castillo kills himself? Asked officer Turner.

“The young man puts his hood up, walks just as he came, upstairs to the administration area, then up the hallway, through the bullpen, then out the main intake door …and out to the street.
