I havent understood part of the problem that short people seem to face, and I've been wondering this for a long time: is the height privilege due to your head being ter away from the ground, or due to physical presence/perceived physical presence?

I'm genuinely curious, because I only heard about heightism and the concept of "height mogging" mogging recently, due to trends on internet, whose origin is USA. I'm around half an inch over average on my country, in Europe, and I never felt "mogged" by dudes taller than me, at least I didn't feel it psychologically.

After some investigation, I found that, regardless of height, you can have a broader skeletal structure as a shorter man than a taller man.

I'm just trying to present facts from what I observed in the world. I can't fathom a girl saying that she wants to be protected, but would rather feel "more protected" by a 6"1 or 6"3 man with a small skeleton than a stocky man 4 or 6 inches shorter.

If it is about having the head farer from the ground, I get it, verticality. I made this question on the sub askwomen, they told thereafter they werent there to "strokes my ego", and then they banned me after I told them to have respect for asking a question. Another dude commented, in other sub, that I won't get the answer I wanted. After I told him I didn't want any specific answer, he started insulting me and bragging about being 6"5, afterwards he had a meltdown, insulted me as if I was Satan itself, and erased his comments shortly after.

I'm making this post to question about your opinion, is it verticality or physical presence?

In other words, is the taller dude more respected (in USA, at least), because he's perceived as stronger/physically imposing, or just because HIS head is farer from the ground?
