Anybody else think “you have tall person energy” is such a backhanded compliment?

People mean well when they say this, they just want to tell you that you are charismatic or confident. But why shouldn’t I be just because I’m short? Why is being confident and charismatic specific to a certain height?

And maybe because there is a stigma/stereotype with short people, specifically men, being insecure and quiet or something? But that feels like when you tell a woman “heh, wow, you’re pretty funny for a female”.

Obviously not saying this is comparable to misogyny, just the same sort of logic.
