Hey folks!

I've purchased everything Kabam has sold since the inception of Shop Titans, and still buy 1-2 $100 gem packs a month (mostly for sigils at this point).

I can't keep up with crafting mastery because of work obligations (long work hours and a nice salary are why I have disposable income for Shop Titans), and I just had an alarming epiphany.

Through T8, T9 ... and maybe even T10, buying new recipes meant access to Best in Slot. Self-crafting potential for the best gear; even an epic can be store upgraded to legendary.

T11 introduced sigils, which we might as well say require money. T11 crafting requires money. Which means that every T11 recipe I buy for money is basically spending money to sign up to spend money.

I can't keep up with recipes and their frequent releases anyway. I didn't mind buying them when I knew I could eventually, one day get to them (like that nebulous Steam library of 500 games that I mostly haven't played), but I woke up this morning looking at all the unmastered recipes I have ... realizing that every new one I purchase is no longer a commitment to more crafting, it's a commitment to spend money. And I spent money to sign up for that commitment.

The circle is too much for my brain. Other veterans out there - folks who were here from the beginning, where are you? Am I unique here? I haven't had coffee yet this morning. I just woke up and logged in, looking helplessly at all the T11 recipes I haven't progressed yet, and I'm not catching up (for need to manage inventory, so I'm perpetually in mostly binless selling mode).
