I feel ripped off

I was off for a while. Had to have my fone in for repairs and then I noticed it wasn't long until the end of the event so I pushed hard and got like 15 lvls in like 5 days (hard for me as I work 13 hrs a day) and then im ten points from the next lvl and the event ends right before the crafting finishes. Can't do anything about it I guess but it's annoying.
