I think we should have a back up savings account where someone we can trust holds it . So if you’re spending a bunch of money put a lot of money in that account and have someone you can trust that will hold it for you . That way if you’re low or low on rent on food you will have thousands of dollars so you can eat or drink or pay rent . But only for those items only . Only for things you need not want .

For me I have an 2 savings account 1 high yield account , a prepaid debit card and 2 checking accounts and ima do something which sounds crazy but ima withdraw 40 dollars worth of quarters each week and put in a huge thing each week so in case I ever start spending like a mad man again in year I’ll have an ultimate protected savings account lol. And my high yield savings account from alliance will triple what I put in there .

And if anyone spends a shipload ton of money then put a bunch of money in a trusted high yield savings account. And it will exponentially grow .

For me I’m trying to triple my income by selling items on offer up . My rent is paid till December but I’m trying to pay it off more in future and my roommate is fine with me doing that I’ve been there for 9 years and it’s super peaceful over there .
