Break Even - Tips?

Hello!

I'm brand new to this subreddit and fairly new to Shopify. I have an e-commerce store selling print-on-demand products in a unique niche. We have custom developed software that let's our customers turn meaningful memories into beautiful framed posters for their home or gifts for loved ones (i.e. we're not selling t-shirts).

We've recently launched some Facebook ads and we've done around $3,000 USD in sales in the last 7 days. Our ad spend has been around $2,800 so when you factor in COGS and other expenses we're currently unprofitable.

We're running an interest campaign targeting some interests and have recently run a retargeting campaign. We have not used emails to date but are in the process of deploying (today) email flows including: Welcome series, Browse abandonment, Cart abandonment, Checkout abandonment.

Our 7 day AOV is $95 USD. Our COGS on this (excluding aquisition cost) is around $35 USD. Hotjar data is showing that our landing page has a 24% bounce rate so it appears to be performing well. We've tried some broad targeting and it's picked up sales but the ROAS is < 1 while our some of our interests are maintaining around 2.0.

We're a new store so can't run any LLA audiences right now and we're in the process of A/B testing a new landing page shortly, although that doesn't appear to be the bottleneck. Our 7 day ATC is 1.47% (low) and CVR is 0.65%.

We're hitting consistent daily sales but just able to hit profitability.

Does anybody have any advice based upon the above?
