I just joined a firm where people mostly just use Shopify (Plus) analytics data, which they feed into Tableau. We are very hard-pressed for time and manpower so I was wondering if it even makes sense to audit and improve their Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager setup (both of which have caused problems and skewed numbers) What are some of the drawbacks of Shopify Analytics? Could I use GA mostly for tracking specific campaigns but rely on Shopify analytics for basic metrics like sales, bounce rate etc?
