Migrate from GoDaddy to Shopify?

I just bought a domain from godaddy and realized I wanted to set up an online store so I should have bought from shopify. I'm new. Now I want to set up my website on shopify to set up an online store. I know I can migrate but would I be able to work on it like regular Shopify website, like adding products or using themes? Would it be like a normal shopify website even though it's migrated from GoDaddy
