Paul does that literally after he SEES what he did. His sister continues it but it's not like he didn't genocide the universe.
Even then the point was Paul started it and only he had the power to stop it before a bridge too far. He fails that then fucks off but the power left there is taken. Then his kids, then worm emperor where it gets interesting again then you stop reading dune after that.
I've always felt premonition gets represented in a way of seeing it in your mind is one thing but seeing it in reality, in the now, is another.
God emperor of dune is great IMO but it also sort of just ends any point of continuing reading. It's both detailed and vague, open but mysterious which means it's annoying and captivating. Anything after is just a boring return to normalcy.
Marley was never going to leave paradis alone, what should he have done, just let his entire island get wiped out?
Essentially yes. If he actually wants to end the Titans then his brother was right. Render all of them infertile and make the bloodline end to save the world. Instead, Eren genocides the planet and nothing changes. The cycle ends up repeating entirely with the Iran power being found again to be forced upon the world again.
The only right answer for Eren was to refuse Ymir and refuse the foresight. It's also the only right answer for Paul Atreides, but he also refused it. I'm not saying I would do better, but in the end the ONLY way to stop the cycle is to take control of it then NOT use it. Eren and Paul both fail this and both receive a facade of peace but guarantee the cycle continues.
I mean, in the end Eren did achieved everything he wanted to achieve, nigh impossible to do better in his case.
I mean Eren solved nothing in the end...

Paul Atreides, Eren Yeager, etc. They always miss the fucking point cause of how angry and justified they start out. Yeah, Paul and Eren are justified in their initial actions, but goddamn at no point do they stop and ask "can I stop? Should I stop? Is this actually better than if I just don't?"
They miss that both Paul and Eren go from strong to weak and that they go from oppressed to oppressor due to their Messiah complex. They destroy everything. People yearn for simple leadership no matter how destructive.
