Will the PS4 version of TES:O be canon?

Zenimax is partnered with Sony now. Will this break the lore on the PS4 version of TES:O?
My desktop can handle Morrowind, so I might just get TES:O on there. Is the lore going to be any better on the PC version, or should I wait it out for the release of the PS4?
