Advice: problem solving a verticle TK suspension (hypermobile)

Post Body

I did an upright running man suspension last night in a 3TK. I am hypermobile and my shoulders are verrry flexible but also experience pain often. I hadn't remained in an upright suspension from a TK and thigh/ankle single columns before. The TK on the floor was perfect for my body but as soon as it was loaded vertically my entire upper body shifted and closed into a very high hands position with lots of weight into my wrists and I had to get out much quicker with a lot of pins and needles and numbness. I was active bottoming (as best as possible) and not leaning excessively into the TK.

Does anyone have suggestions and/or experience with this during upright TK suspension? Any adjustments that could aid this?

So many alterations you could make. You just gotta play with it.

For instance, taking the second wrap through the arm and body instead of over the deltoid I've seen work for some.

Switching from an x - o stem to a v in the back.

Or even doing strength training in the arms and shoulders to help manage the mobility issue.

Experimentation is key.
