Post Body

I just started playing a bit with shibari and I was wondering if you guys have any tips for treating the ropes. A friend of mine recommended buying rope from the hardware store and treating it by boiling in water and coconut oil to get started, and buy more quality rope in the future. Is her advice good? (Note that I do have 1 set of higher quality rope, the one in the picture, but I just want to make sure I don't hurt myself if a buy lesser quality rope to start)
