It’s often excused with „upholding their moral code“ but if you are willing to endanger your whole planet because of your moral code maybe it hasn’t gotten anything to do with morals but with the princesses abusing the safety their powers give them, because the people that are actually getting their homes destroyed don’t have that comfort.
I’m only at the beginning of season 2 but Catras neck could’ve been snapped many times by now, but apparently we have the leisure to not kill one of the driving forces of the horde. It doesn’t even teach anyone morals like you shouldn’t kill because if you’re choosing between hindering mass murder by killing a potential mass murderer when you have the chance and not doing that, it isn’t up to you anymore to decide, you can’t morally trade one live against many.
