Use Shelly 2.5 as a binary mqtt sensor?
Post Body

I’m trying to have my Shelly 2.5 turn on lights that aren’t connected directly to the switch. I tried just using the native integration over Wifi and found it to have a delay sometimes. I’m hoping mqtt will be faster.

My thought was to create a binary sensor that will tell Home Assistant if the switch is in the on or off position.

I have mosquito running and I’m receiving the data, but when I create the automation based on just the data, it keeps updating every 30 seconds. So if I turn off the lights without using the switch (using my voice command or Home Assistant) the 30 second update overrides it.
