Hello there!
I have a seemingly simple problem, but have not been able to understand the precise problem/if there is a simple solution I am missing(likely).
I have data entries in three row blocks, with some columns grouped and others not. I am trying to simply color the entire block a certain color based on one cell in each array that, naturally, indicates a color.
I am mostly able to use Custom Conditional Formatting to refer to this cell dynamically for each data entry. The only issue is, the formatting starts to break down going right after the initial grouped cells, leaving the middle and bottom row of each entry improperly colored.
My estimation is that the nature of the grouped cells is interrupting the conditional formatting formula, but I don't understand how. Furthermore, is there a simple or logical fix for this while maintaining the general format?
In the example, you can see the D4 cell marked "Red", which of course makes all the cells in that entry turn red, with the exception of the cells in question.
Thanks in advance!
