Anyone know how the cow sharks got that nickname?

A coworker/former professor of mine asked me today, and I Googled my heart out to no avail. I didn't know if anyone here would know.
I said it was because they look dopey and unthreatening, and what's one of the most dopey and unthreatening looking land creatures out there? Mooooooo.
