Sharepoint 2013 loses login whenever someone clicks a _blank link.
Post Body

Title pretty much says it all. Whenever a user is logged in (publishing site) and clicks on a link that has target="_blank" on it, the ribbon and their login information completely disappears. From that point on it's like they're browsing anonymously. It takes closing their browser completely and logging in again before they can get their ribbon back.

Things I've verified:

  • It happens across multiple browsers (chrome, safari, firefox, ie)
  • the host is the same (staying in www.site.com as opposed to switching to site.com although that will also kill the login)

Any thoughts on where I should be looking or what might be happening?
