Help: InfoPath Rich Text Control Height

So tricky/buggy issue and my playing/tinkering and google-fu failed me:

I have a form that displays a multi-line of text column in a rich text control. No matter how I configure the height of the row, section, control or any combination of, it wont cap the height.

What happens: the control loads at the proper size, with a scroll box when needed, the row then expands to compensate for any text outside of the control's size.

...i'd equate it to turning off the overflow, etc.

Thoughts?
