I would like a radio button on our Helpdesk site that will launch the phone dialer and call into our help line. This would most likely be launching Teams, and then the plugin for our phone system. The only option that I have been able to find for this is using the Markdown webpart with [CALL](tel:xxxxxxxxxx). Using "callto:" does not work either, as the text in the webpart disappears entirely when using this syntax.

I am able to get the Markdown webpart to work from my own browser session. but the link does not work for anyone else I have tested with (people in my dept with the same permissions and group access). Everyone can see the link, but hovering the cursor over the text does not display a url for anyone else but myself.

Is there a better way to have a call function like I am trying to achieve? How can I ensure consistency between users?
