Retreat to nature near shanghai?

Hey there all,
I've been in shnaghai a couple of weeks and am starting to realise just how much I need green spaces away from the sight of tall buildings and the constant sound of people in my life.
Any recommendations for spots within a few hours of shanghai where i can be surrounded by trees, hear the sound of running water, and not be surrounded by people?
Major bonus points if i can access them without renting a car.
