Hi. I recently started watching shameless and just finished season 1. As one who grew up in Texas but my family is from Chicago, I go to Chicago quite often. I’m quite familiar with the greater Chicago area specifically the south side and know the general area that the show takes place. I know they actually filmed closer to Wrigley field even though it takes place about 15-25 blocks south of where the Sox stadium is. At the end of season 1 Fiona is seen not getting on the train. However she does so at Kedzie station. (Brown line just northwest of Wrigleyville) I know with technology at the time of its release was advanced enough to change the station to look more like where it should take place. Is there any reason it was not changed or What was she doing that far in the first place?
