I love the setting, writing, etc. What I don't love is the amount of combat. I don't have a problem with the combat in and out of itself, I just think it's so prelevant that the game often feels more like a turn based tactical game than a role playing game. It's especially painful if you play as a non-combat oriented character or have them on your team. I play as a decker and when I'm not decking my character feels essentially useless. Speaking of deckers, I don't like that decking is rewarded with even more combat. Other non-combat or support oriented characters, like Dietrich, feels similarly weak, as their support abilities don't compensate for their lack of damage output. They usually don't get enough of their items to sustain them through an entire mission.
I keep giving up on this game but then come back to give it another shot because what's good is good, and I'd love to see the story to its conclusion. But I'm getting pretty sick of having to slog through all the combat encounters.
