Demons? Aliens? Interdimensional beings? I'd like to get some opinions on what people think they are. I tend to think interdimensional beings, based on how they act, their appearance, and the seemingly arbitrary things they do. I also only feared them when I first started seeing them(I saw them a lot as a child). They're only really scary because they're startling and shouldn't be there. And I never felt threatened by them, they were just sort of unsettling.

Edit: There were a couple times I was threatened by them. I also saw the hatman a few times and he was terrifying. There was one specific one that I saw multiple times over the course of a few years along with my brother and a friend. We nicknamed him Longlegs. When I was 14 or 15 I was at my house, it was about two or three in the morning and I was hanging out with my brother (who's room was in the basement) and our friend. They had went upstairs and were smoking on the back porch and I was in the kitchen. They came in and went downstairs and I came down shortly afterwards. There were about 12-14 steps to the basement and the ceiling blocked the view of the outside basement door for the top hand of the stairs. There was a huge window in the basement door and when I got almost all the way down the stairs I saw him through the window. He was like, "running" across the yard. He seemed to be huge, seven or eight feet and his legs were jointed backwards like a birds, he had super long arms that went almost to the ground, and his head was like jagged and stretched like it had been shot off partially and frozen. None of us ever saw him at the same time. Years later I was walking with a friend at night, we were on a part of road with two large hills. One hill was behind us in the distance, when I got a wierd sensation on my back. I turned around and he was standing in the hill behind us completely still, after a few seconds I blinked and he was gone.
