Hi

I'm currently playing the "Tales of the Demonlord" campaign and switched several adventures. As our lvl 5 adventure we currently do a beefed up "necessary sacrifices" since the players are kinda good with Randolphus from the Inquisition in Crossing.

From him they got the Info about the missing priest there and he told them that he wants to investigate that with their help.

Fast forward we are now at the climax (the players just saw that the bandit group they cleared out are now the sacrifices and Marla rose from the water) and I made the cut for this session.

Now in the aftermath our paladin player told me that after this he will make sure that the hole village will burn to the ground and kill/hunt the survivors of the village.... Which seems kinda harsh. on the other side I believe this is something that also the inquisition would do.

What would you do now? Allow it? Maybe also hinting that diablos likes this??
