I know this is an anti-SGI site, but I have to get this off my chest...

I have never been so annoyed and angered in my life to receive so many freaking "happy easter" text messages from family members yesterday. I try to put a positive spin on it in my head-- like... they have good intentions, they want me to be happy, they want me to have a good day, etc....

But then I'm like.... NO. I'm NOT a Christian. Stop assuming EVERYONE YOU KNOW is celebrating your damn holiday.

So I wrote back to them all "Happy Ostara, Happy springtime!"

It bothers me more and more that Christians can wish everyone a happy whatever holiday they celebrate. But THEY get offended if someone says "happy holidays" or something.... I bet some of my family members were offended that I wished them Happy Ostara (Pagan springtime celebration) yesterday.

Well FUCK THEM if they are hypocrites like that. You don't see Jews or Muslims going around wishing their holidays on EVERYONE they know... because they probably know better than to wish THEIR holidays on NON believers.

UGH.
