So I'm working on my first sffpc build with an Ncase M1 and C14s cooler. All of the thermal tests you guys have been posting here (which have been awesome btw, ty for the help) discuss the side fans as either intake or exhaust...
Well... why not both? Only 1 of the side fans is actually over the cpu cooler, so I don't think the other fan actually needs to be in the same direction. e.g side panel fan over cpu as intake and other side panel fan across from sfx psu as exhaust.
I'm imagining it forming a circular airflow within the top half of the case so the bottom half with the gpu doesn't get heated by the cpu air, or vice versa depending on intake/exhaust setups.
Has anyone tested this? If so I'd love to hear about it. Either way, you can expect a follow up post from me next weekend when I try it myself.
