This is not an SFFPC, this is just a tribute...

As requested by Testosterone_Tornado i post my completed build.

Case InWin 301 (24L)
CPU Ryzen 5 2600x
CPU Cooler Ryorig H7 Quad Lumi
GPU Sapphire Nitro RX Vega 64
RAM Kingston HyperX Predator 3600 @ 3200 CL 14-15-15-28
Mainboard ASRock B450m Pro4
SSD ADATA XPG SX8200 480Gb
HDD Some old Western Digital RED 1Tb
PSU Seasonic Focus Plus 650FX
Case Fans Arctic F12 PWM

Very pleased so far.

Haven't OC'ed the CPU as I'm playing at 1440p where the GPU is the bottleneck. That being said enabling PBO gives only an extra 50Mhz in sustained boost speed (3,94Ghz -> 3,99Ghz) at mugh higher power consumption. I think the boards VRM limits the CPU as it can't deliver more power. Temps max just above 70° in AIDA64. The stock cooler was absolutely capable of sufficient cooling but was revving agressively. The Cryorig is alot quiter.

The GPU has been tweaked to 1625Mhz Core / 1060Mhz HBM @ 1040mV. The card can run at higher settings but will start to experience artefacting and crashes in some benchmarks/games while others run just fine. I was told this card would be too hot for the small case but actually it's maxing at around 75° (Hotspot 83°) in AIDA64. The case is designed to let the GPU draw fresh air through the bottom intake and eject it out the front and back. I had to mount the lower of the two front intake fans on the other side of the bracket to get the large card (310mm) to fit in the case.

The RAM was bought without looking at the QVL of the board which states it will only run at 3200Mhz. Turns out I can run it at 3400Mhz CL16 (Ryzen doesn't like CL15 and sets it to 16 every time) but this is slower in latency than 3200Mhz CL14. For now I'm satisfied with the speeds and timings as they appear to be Prime95 stable.

RGB (i know, its not RGB but a very light blue right now) is a pain as I have to use 3 different Apps to set colors (SapphireNitroGlow, ASRock Polychrome, NZXT CAM) and can't synchronize them. On top of that the RAM will not remember the settings and reset to rainbow puke every time i cold boot. Fix: Task Scheduler launches ASRock Polychrome as different user after booting because the App restores settings when launched...

TLDR: Temps are fine for a Vega 64 in a smallish case. Next time I'm going true SFFPC. Promise.
