The search for the perfect AP is a lonely journey. I’m looking for a human with the following wondrous qualities:

Eager conversationalist. Ideally with any combination of self-deprecating/dry/sarcastic sense of humor. Easy conversations are your jam.

Married, or at least be able to relate to the joys and tribulations of being in a less-than-ideal partnership that lacks intimacy.

Kind and empathetic. E.g. you feel bad if you ever forget to tip your local Starbucks/Peet’s barista.

A yearning for learning. Life is a journey and you need to grow. Growing through experiences and exchange of ideas. Being open minded, you despise being imprisoned by ideological silos and echo chambers. Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back resonates with you.

You want to try everything at least once. Loyal. Responsible. You pride yourself as being love-able, worthy of emotional investment in the context of an AP. Being loyal is ironic I know, but at least you just want and need only 1 AP and you are determined to see this through long term.

Guiding star. Caring. Supportive. You want to be an undying positive force in your AP’s life. You are a giver. Giving makes you feel good. Giving makes you feel loved， especially for someone who is appreciative, like me.

I seek the above because that is me in a nutshell. Other things about me:

I am a problem solver. So despite being married, and having a kid, I am on this journey to mend my loneliness and lack of intimacy. YOLO after all.

Professional senior level professional in the silicon valley. I introduce bugs in code like the best of them.

Been a brunet since high school. Rocking my natural hair color since I’m not cool enough to dye my hair.

I like hiking! I like sushi! I like tacos! I only like the above just so I can claim to be basic and mid.

I’m an introverted extrovert. I’m a walking oxymoron. Or just a moron. And that’s okay, people tell me.

I'm a good boy. No face tattoos, or tattoos of any kind. Nor do I smoke nor do drugs. You could theoretically take me home to your mother. I don't know why you'd do that but that's a different story.

I'm open minded about chemistry. I believe unique individuals create different types of relationships. Traditional ones, FLR, or what not, in and out of the bedroom (or for exhibitionists, anywhere else). I don't judge, and it's interesting to see what develops.

I've done this before, with local or LD APs, serially. I am no stranger to the opsec et al that's required. While it's been rewarding journies on their own, whereby you learn something new about yourself, and the world, nothing compares to a long term emotional, spiritual, and physical connection which I crave.

My one most shallow trait is I can't date anyone morbidly obese. I’m not looking for a size 0 either. And while I’m all about that bass, I have tried and it’s not for me.

Extra brownie points if you volunteer at your children's school. Or if you've taken a CrossFit, barre, hot yoga, pole dancing, kettlebell, or aqua zumba class. Or if you buy wine and organic prudence in bulk. Or if you have a love for yoga pants from lululemon.
