With Valentine's Day having just rolled around, I've been feeling pretty lonely. Are any of you on the dating apps and not seeing much progress? I have this theory that most people found someone when apps first came around 2015, and nowadays the apps give off toilet seat scrolling energy. Anyways, I digress. I miss being inside someone, looking each other in the eyes, making out and feeling the primal draw of our bodies touching.
Kind of cringe writing there from me, let's get more practical. I think attraction is important for a fwb connection, but I also enjoy someone who thinks on the same wavelength. What do you think of these ideas?
- catching a movie at a drive in theatre, if you've never been it's a pretty unique experience
- visiting some part of the bay we're both unfamiliar with and grabbing some grub (Niles, or any of the cuisine rich cities on the peninsula come to mind like Redwood City, San Mateo, etc)
.- going to a rave or music concert if we happen to overlap on music interests
- playing some pickleball. it looks dumb but it's lowkey fun
- going stargazing and honestly i've always wanted to try making out in this setting
