Issue with esp8266 deauther
Post Body

Hello! I am currently trying to create a deauther with an esp8266 after seeing the Seytonic tutorial. According to my Linux terminal, I have successfully flashed the esp8266 with the .bin file on spacehuhn's GitHub page (I am using esptool for flashing). However, despite repeated attempts, verifying the flash, and plugging in to another power source, I am not showing the WiFi network on any of my device (the WiFi is otherwise working). As I assume I have successfully flashed the device, I'm curious if I have to enable the WiFi somehow. Is there a way to ensure everything is loaded properly, other than "esptools.py... veryify_flash?"

Additionally, I tried following the guidance from spacehuhn on using the Arduino IDE. I have followed all of the steps, but receive an "error: espcomm_open failed" after compiling as I try to upload. The port is correct and Arduino IDE is able to detect my board; how can I get it to communicate?

Thanks for the help! Hope to try this out on my WiFi!
