Okay, I think I have my answer, but I want to check with you lot because you're smarter than me and are likely better read on these things. So here we go:

1. I have never had sex, by choice. Not because I don't want to, but because I've never been in a relationship with anyone, and casual sex doesn't appeal to me.
2. I do have sexual fantasies. I do experience arousal. I have consumed pornography. But when I date, I prioritize getting to know people. I do think about sex with them sometimes, but I don't pursue sex unless I'm absolutely sure we both want it...which so far has never happened. But again, I prioritize establishing mutual interests and getting to know someone over sex. Kissing and touching is fun, though.
3. I'm some flavor of neurodivergent. I've heard being demisexual is more common among the neurodivergent.
4. I don't know why I thought I had a fourth thing to say. A woman I met online showed me a picture of her genitals once. I understand now why people do that, but like...why do you need to send me photographic evidence that you maintain good hygiene? That's weird to me. I'm not thinking about how clean your junk is when I'm trying to get to know you. I mean, I like lady-parts, but that's more of an aesthetic thing. I'm not an airplane coming in for an emergency landing.

Anyway, tell me whether this sounds demisexual to you all. Maybe I'll finally match with the people I want if I adjust my dating profiles accordingly.
