I've always considered myself straight, but as of the past few months I've been wondering if there's a better term that better fits my sexuality. When I first met my last partner they identified as a woman, but further into the relationship they expressed a growing comfort with identifying as non-binary. It was something I encouraged them to explore and I loved them no less for it. I enjoyed both their femme and masc presenting looks. I've also had a fwb who is a trans woman and we got along phenomenally. She's still to this day one of the most influential people I've met in my life.
So after both of these relationships, I really don't know how to succinctly express what my sexuality is. I'm romantically & sexually attracted to femme and femme presenting people. And while I have no problem admitting when another guy is good looking, men simply do nothing for me in those departments. I've looked into polysexual and heteroflexible after the options showed up on dating apps, but they didn't feel right (?) and I was still stumped as to what to list. So is there a category that more succinctly describes where I'm currently at?
