So I [M] have been seeing someone [F] for a few months. About a month ago she had what appeared to be a pimple on her labia, which she popped. Afterwards the side where the pimple was became swollen and stiff. A few weeks later she is now experiencing dryness, itchiness, and some discharge. She told me she usually gets yeast infections, so thinks it's that. She took a pee exam for yeast, and VB, and it all came back negative. Not sure if they mentioned STDs or even tested her for it.
I went to the doctor two weeks ago and got checked, blood and urine. Blood results all came back negative except HSV1 which the doctor told me not to worry about as over half of the population has it and it's what causes cold sores and that I could've gotten it at a young age and not have known. However, for some reason they did not process my urine so I had to give another sample, and have to wait for results next week for a required in person visit. They told me if anything came back positive they would call me. They took the sample last Wednesday.
I'm really freaking out right now because I don't know if I have/had anything or if she has something. I've had zero symptoms. No burning, no warts/pimples, or discharge however my testicles have been oddly itchy over a year which I suspect to be eczema that I've been dealing with for a few years now.
Right now I'm freaking out and I don't know what to do, or if I can even wait until next week for results. If her yeast, and VB pee exam came back negative could it be a STD?
I know asking strangers on reddit isn't the best but I'm just trying to keep myself from losing it and trying to see what it may or may not be in the meantime.
