As a male, assault isn't taken seriously across the board. Verbal, emotional, physical, seggusal - I could provide many examples and it's sad. I want to state that you won't read anything graphic here, but I want to get a public seggsual assault situation off my chest.

So I was invited to this really big birthday bash in LA. It felt more like a red carpet club event than a birthday party - everyone showed up dressed to the 9s, there was a guest list, security, two DJ's, an open cocktail bar, photographers, etc etc. There were celebrities and influencers with millions of followers in attendance... I just want to set the scene for you.

Anyways at some point at the party, as I'm chilling and drinking with a group of people I clicked with, this very drunk girl comes up to me out of nowhere and immediately sits on my lap. First red flag, completely threw me off guard. I slide my knees to the side so she falls off and scoot over. She touches my face and says 'Dance with me'. I oblige her even though I don't really want to, but I felt awkward. We get up to dance a bit and then SHE GRABS MY BALLS!! I couldn't believe it, I literally turned with my jaw open like "Did anybody see that!?". I caught someone's gaze and they did see it but they were laughing about it. So I immediately felt invalidated. I asked her "Why did you do that?" and went to sit back down. When I sit down someone tells me "Yo that's so-and-so" like her name was supposed to have importance to me. She eventually comes back over to sit on me yet again and I dodge her. She sits nexts to me and is touching me. I tell her to stop. She's wasted, laughing, everything's funny to her. She put her hand on my thigh and tried to lead it towards my crotch again. I grabbed it and told her "STOP". I still wasn't being taken seriously and no one was there for me even though everyone could see exactly what was going on.

I ended up migrating to a new area of the party to escape this chick. I was so uncomfortable. It's still an uncomfortable feeling and idk, I just wanted to talk about it.
