Something I've noticed in the comment sections of this sub. Every now and then someone complains on a story that it is "fake" when it's heavily implied to be fictional. Or by the content alone, you can probably assume that the story isn't real.
I guess what bothers me most about these comments is that they already did the mental work to realize that the post isn't based on real life, and they STILL get mad about it as if they were being tricked, or as if this sub was exclusively dedicated to real-life stories of people having sex.
Guys. Girls. There are tags for both "fiction" and "non-fiction", meaning that both are allowed. If you ONLY want to read the non-fictional ones, you can easily do this by searching the posts that use that tag. If you don't, be prepared to read a few that that are literally made-up stories.
In part I wanted to write this because in the past I used to feel bad about writing fiction over here because I kept getting these dumb comments accusing me of being fake. I had to write the mods to make sure I wasn't breaking any rules and they assured me I wasn't.
To conclude: when you leave these "omg so obviously fake" comments, you look like a jackass.
