My uncle dm me this morning saying:

"Hi Sasha, it's Uncle Henry. I didn't recognize you in these videos you're doing! No idea you're so athletic now. What are these for?"

"these videos" he's referring to are fitness spots I've been doing. They're a bit sexual tbh and kind of objectify me a lot. My uncle followed his message with a sceenshot of me from one of my fitness spots -- I think as a way to show me what he's referring to?

I don't know how innocent or not innocent his message was. The screenshot was a booty shot of me...so i dunnoooo. Maybe he's just be bad at ig? I dunno!

I pretty much spent the day trying to figure out how to respond. I can't lie I am curious if he sees me that way. Maybe it's weird to say but it would a bit flattering. I dunno, still processing it all. Either way, I debated for hours how to respond in just the right way -- nothing like aggressive but not cold and dismissive. I talked to you guys and came up with this...

"Hi Uncle Henry!! Thank you so much!!! They're for this fitness/wellness company that sometimes hires me to do promotional spots for them. It's really fun. I know haven't seen you in awhile! Been taking fitness a lot more serious these days -- only way i could fit into those outfits! I posted some other spots. Did you see them?"

I thought it was good, chill but still warm and nice message, right? I dunno- maybe the line about the outfits was too much?

It's been an hour and he hasn't responded yet. Trying to not freak out!

Update: He responded!! I can't tell tho..it feels pretty harmless i think. Not sure. He said this:

"Sasha, I'm watching them right now. I'm speechless. You're so natural and charming in these. I can tell how serious you take fitness. I'm so proud of you. Do they pay you well? Is it hard work?"
