Please excuse the fairly random subject, but I was curious how many folks in here also rock the shaved pubes look. You see, I'm a man in my 60s, and my wife (also in her 60s), prefers me to be totally bald "downstairs" and has for several years now. She stays bare down there herself and decided about a decade ago that she was tired of being pricked, tickled and gagged by my pubes...so I've been shaving on a regular basis ever since.

A buddy of the mine at the gym poked fun at me in the locker room the other day for shaving my pubes seemingly as often as I shave my face, and it got me to wondering how many other folks around my age keep it smooth down there. No, I'm not talking about trimming; I know that's fairly common across the board nowadays. I mean completely bald (with nothing more than occasional stubble).

My wife likes hair on my chest, arms and legs but prefers my genitals totally smooth. It makes sense to me, although it's a bit funny that I rocked a full bush for the first 50 or so years of my life but now, as an old fart, shave my pubic region multiple times a week. Does this resonate with anyone else here (male or female)? Is it totally normal for guys my age to be shaved smooth, or is my insecurity warranted? Thanks for your input.
