When my SO (35M) and I(35F) were in our 20s, condoms felt like they were there but it was not a big deal. It didn't ruin the experience. As we got a little older, we started getting better thinner condoms. Something happened as we approached 35 and after. We have tried most brand types of thin condoms over the past 2 years and the same thing happens. We both just kinda go numb. It's not enjoyable and regularly leads to disappointment.

We tried it putting them on halfway through. That was good. But then when we put them on, we both stop enjoying it and back to disappointment.

Is this an age problem?

Edit: does dick size change in 30s? Why would same sized condoms be ok in the late 20s and a problem in the early 30s?

I'm just trying to wrap my head around why it was ok and now it leads to disappointment.
