TL;DR: My wife has gone from occasional squirter to squirting every time we have sex, and is now done with it. How can she make it stop or happen less frequently?

Posting this question for my wife, who is not a Redditor but thinks crowdsourcing this is a good idea. My Wife (F40) started squirting during sex maybe 5 year ago. The first time it happened was the first time we went to a swingers club (yes we are swingers), and she was super turned on. Since then, it was an occasional thing that happened, and a welcome surprise for all involved. This changed about 2 months ago.

Something happened (not certain what) and now she squirts every single time we have sex. She squirts with other guys, other women, and with me. In super erotically charged environments and just at home having "run of the mill" sex. Its every time. Even without an orgasm. (And no, it doesn't smell or taste like urine.) And while I and all her other sex partners have assured her we are all turned on by it, she is done with it.

She doesn't like the clean up after (kind of ruins the afterglow). Frustrated when she feels like she has to clean up during. She hates the very loud squelching sound. The increased lubrication cuts down on the friction too much and she loses the sensation of being penetrated, particularly when she is on top (her favorite position). She gets so lubed up, sometimes I end up popping out, ruining the momentum she gathering to cum. So overall, its started to cause frustration and self-consciousness.

What could have caused this uptick? She did have some (consensually) rough dates when this first started, could this be her body's self-defense? How can she stop squirting? Or at least reduce its frequency?
