Parents How do you balance PDA in the home

My wife and I have two boys 3 and 1, this past week we were joking I was going to have to explain to the day care teacher where my three year old got the idea to grab someone’s butt.

This got be wondering, how much PDA is acceptable in the house with kids home? It’s not like we do anything too crazy, maybe an opportune butt grab(which go both ways) or a mildly handsy hug.

How do you all treat these things? I know my parents hugged and exchanged a kiss/peck while I was in the house, but how much is too much? Can anyone relate? Does anyone of stories of this going wrong?
