I'm currently having issues with my 7 cm cyst on my left ovary. Ever since my last period, which ended 6-7 days ago, I've felt some pressure and some cramping in my lower stomach daily and I'm also bloated. Before I've only felt this pain during the week before my period and during my period, and then it usually goes away. But not this time unfortunately. I now feel it daily, but it comes and goes. And what's even more unfortunate is that I've started to feel this pain in my lower stomach during penetrative sex. And I haven't had issues with it before. In fact I've started to enjoy deep penetration after I took out my coppar iud in October, but now it hurts even if the penetration is slow and gentle.

It makes me very sad and I'm scared to have sex now. I'm just wondering if anyone have had the same issues with ovarian cysts causing pain during sex? Did you just avoid penetrative sex, or did you do anything else? Do you have any other tips that might help make it more comfortable? Sex is now associated with fear and sadness and I don't like that, so what can I do?

I have an ultrasound appointment at a gyn specialist clinic in one week, so I'm going to ask them about having sex then. But I would still like to hear other people's experiences.
