Fans who are not from or near NYC, do you ever Google mentions/references from the show?
Post Body

Today I'm watching the Hot Child in the City episode and Carrie questioned how Wade could afford a classic six on the Upper West Side. I've watched the series many times and this is the first time I caught "classic six" and Googled it. At different times throughout the years, I've Googled:

  1. All the districts mentioned in the show: Upper and Lower East Sides, Soho, Greenwich Village, the Meatpacking district, etc.

  2. Specific cities mentioned: Weehawken, Suffern, the Hamptons (including more specific cities there like Sagaponack), New Haven, etc. I also Googled the NY/CT border to see where Carrie told the taxi driver to drop Laney. She just told him to take her to Connecticut, so I assume it was somewhere right across the border.

  3. Restaurants and foods: Il Cantanori, the Tunnel (club), that cold soup Carrie ate when she was sitting next to the old woman who crushed a pill in her ice cream (gazpacho I think?), puttaneska, baba ganoush, tuna tartlets, matzah balls, cosmopolitan, etc.

  4. Famous people: Anna Wintour, Gloria Steinem, and probably a few others I can't think of.

  5. Specific streets and intersections, just to see where they were when events happened. I also Google street viewed those areas.

So I'm just curious if anyone else did the same things.
