Long story short, I've been on Effexor for about 6 months now, it works really well for me, I have severe panic and generalized anxiety disorder. However, I CANNOT reach orgasm, it's driving me insane. My sex drive has been up lately because the medication is working and overall I am feeling pretty good. I get aroused, my body responds (I get wet, hard nipples etc.), everything feels really good, and sex with my husband is amazing... but lately now I cannot get there, not even close. It's happening when I try to masturbate too. I'm going crazy. We had sex this morning and it was great but I couldn't finish and I'm trying to work on a research paper for class and I'm just distracted and frustrated with it today. I cannot stop this medication, it's working very well and I've tried many others in the past and what I'm on right now just seems to be really helping tremendously. Should I just accept it and keep trying? Does anyone else currently have this issue? Has anyone done anything that has helped with this situation? I just want my orgasms back lol.
