This was inspired by the Tedtalk by Nicole Daedone on orgasmic meditation: What she explains and understands is exactly the reason I enjoy sex so much. The hunger isn't just the desire to get off it's the desire to connect and lose time, and be open and FEEL in a way that is unlike how you feel in any other area of life. To me interacting sexually with someone in any capacity gives me a sense of tremendous liberation, peace, transcendence, fun, and pleasure. I feel myself when I'm with someone and at the same time I'm escaping from being the other sides of myself. Stepping into a place where I belong, where I am free, where I'm myself entirely, where I don't judge myself or feel judged and where pleasure and adventure abounds. This is why, to me, sex is much more than sex. It's another opportunity for me to be me. Sex isn't just something I do sometimes; my sexual identity and being are part of who I am and how I see myself.
