How Important Is Your Sexual Health & How Often Does It Involve Being Regularly Screened For STIs?

I'm curious to see the answers. While I see certain posts asking for encounters (in addition to said posts saying that "I've never tested positive for STIs"), it makes me wonder how often one is being screened & is this conversation being had with how often testing happens (especially with new partners).
