How good it is to show and choose porn to/by partner?

There was a recommendation to me on anonther post by someone that its a good practice to choose porn by the girl.
In my case she hasn't watched porn before, may be a snippet shown by me. It's foreign to her.
I want to show her porn coz there are things which I can't explain, and those videos may(as I haven't tried before) boost her more.
But I have this feeling that my dick isn't as big and thick as shown on videos even on r/lustury. So I am concerned about it.
