I'm so frustrated. I (21F) never feel the urge to masturbate and I'm never horny but I really want to be. Usually once or twice a week I will masturbate because I enjoy the feeling of getting off. However, there is no pleasure before or during the act, only when I eventually cum which is still in itself not fantastic. Do other women FEEL horny and then decide to masturbate? I feel like I'm missing out on a huge part of it. Masturbation feels like a chore sometimes, or at most like a small self-care thing, which is nice but not amazing. I remember when I first masturbated and came for the first time at 18 (I was brought up Catholic lol) it felt so good, and for months after that, I'd be "horny" for nothing other than just masturbating in general, but now - nothing. Is there any way to have a high libido? Do I have to get used to not having one? I'm also a virgin if that means anything. Am I just asking for like to be spontaneously horny which isn't possible? I have no idea how any of it works.
