Suggestions for less messy golden showers?

My partner and I want to try a golden shower. (I want to try it, and he is accommodating). Are there pads or anything that we can put on the floor to make it not be so messy? I have a small apartment bathtub, so that is out of the question. I know they make waterproof bed sheets, but I don't want to do it on the bed.
